National Community Infrastructure & Partnerships Coordinator

Part-Time Contract Position
Remote – Canada
Contract Value: $20,000 ($35/hour)
Approx. 570 hours over project period

Help Build the Future of Inclusive Hockey

Alphabet Sports Collective (ASC) is seeking a National Community Infrastructure & Partnerships Coordinator to help strengthen the systems, partnerships, and engagement frameworks that support our growing national community.

This role will work closely with the Executive Director, community partners, consultants, and volunteers to help build the organizational infrastructure that advances safer, more inclusive hockey spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across Canada.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Community engagement and meet-up framework development
  • Partnership research, outreach, and relationship building
  • Virtual community and membership platform development
  • Governance, inclusion, and safer spaces policies
  • Evaluation, reporting, and feedback systems
  • Storytelling and knowledge mobilization initiatives
  • Development of volunteer, mentorship, internship, and leadership pathways

We’re Looking For Someone With

  • Experience in community engagement, nonprofit work, partnerships, advocacy, or sport for social impact
  • Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills
  • Knowledge of equity, accessibility, anti-oppression, and 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion
  • Experience working with underserved or equity-deserving communities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Flexible work schedule
  • $35/hour contract rate
